Several Texoma athletes had a chance to show their skills at the Burkburnett Blacksox' annual Summer Scout Day.
Rain forced much of the workout inside, but Blacksox players still had the chance to pitch and hit in front of nearly twenty college coaches and three or four Major League Baseball scouts.
One of the goals of the Blacksox organization is to get scholarships for any unsigned 2012 player.
They were also looking to gain exposure for upcoming juniors and sophomores in the program.
The Blacksox had four alumni drafted in last week's MLB Draft, including Wichita Falls High School's Griffin Russell, who signed with the Padres on Saturday and will pitch in the Arizona Rookie League.
