MSU Places 50 on Commissioner's Honor Roll

Midwestern State placed 50 student-athletes on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll released by league officials Thursday afternoon.
 
The contingent of Mustangs was led by six who posted perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during the 2011-12 academic year including seniors Chase Hooper (football) and Travis Veitenheimer (football), juniors Kallie Noble (softball), Cara Mack (cross country) and Lainie Lambert and sophomore Sara Cuba (cross country).
 
To be eligible for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.0 GPA for the current academic year and be active on the roster.
