Motorcyclist Killed On I-44

Posted: Updated:

Two Sheppard Air Force employees were involved in a deadly motorcycle/vehicle collision that left one dead and the other behind bars.

Wichita Falls Police Officers were sent to I-44 NB just south of Airport Road Saturday just after 6 a.m.

They said motorcyclist Michael David Brown, 53, was traveling in the right lane when 21-year-old Anjelika Faul's Toyota switched lanes in front of him. That's when the motorcycle collided in the rear of the car.

Brown was taken to a hospital and later died. His body was taken to Tarrant County for an autopsy. Brown was a Department of Defense civilian employee at Sheppard Air Force Base.

Faul is charged with intoxicated manslaughter. Her bond is set at $250,000.

Newschannel 6 will continue to follow this case.
