Zach Stewart Rocked In Start

Former Holliday standout Zach Stewart struggled in his first start of the season for the Chicago White Sox.

The 25-year-old gave up six runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings of work to the Chicago Cubs. Stewart threw 90 pitches, giving up four home runs in the loss. He was spot starting to give Jake Peavy an extra day of rest.

Stewart falls to 1-2 for the season with an 6.00 ERA, giving up 10 home runs for the season.

For his career, Stewart is now 3-7 with 5.69 ERA and 60 strikeouts.

The White Sox lost the game 12-3.
