Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department is the latest department to get a new fire truck. They received the truck from a government surplus. To celebrate firefighters held a cookout and open house for the entire community Saturday. It was a chance for everyone to come see first hand a truck that will go a long way fighting flames. The truck will be used to fight brush fires.
"We're having an open house today to show everybody our newly refurbished '96 model fire truck that we purchased," said Fire Chief Buddy Alexander.
