Christina is so excited to be in Texoma, joining the Newschannel 6 team. She has lived her whole life in the Northeast and had never been to Texas until she moved here!
Christina is finding her way around, meeting as many people as possible, and is so impressed with Texoma hospitality.
Before coming to KAUZ, Christina worked as an Anchor and Reporter at WPRO in her home state of Rhode Island. She was originally hired as a Content Producer for WPRO's website, but everything changed on just her third day of work…
When another reporter was not available, Christina asked to cover a story. She stuck around after all other news crews had left, got an exclusive interview and worked through the night to break the story on the morning show. After that day, she was put on the news team as an Anchor and Reporter.
Christina graduated from Hofstra University in May of 2011 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Broadcast Journalism and Sociology.
In her free time, Christina loves to volunteer. She has a distinct love for New Orleans, where she has visited to rebuild houses four times. But her favorite volunteer trip was to Ghana, Africa where she spent a month working at a school and orphanage in a small village, teaching drama. While there, she filmed a documentary on communication in the country.
Christina also loves acting in plays, horseback riding and being outdoors. She is so excited to explore the community and get involved!
