Texas High School Baseball Coaches' Association All-State List:

1st Team

Pitcher: Weston Wuthrich, Archer City
Outfield: Marty Jentsch, Archer City

2nd Team

Outfield: Blake Brom, Rider; Cody Adams, Seymour
Catcher: Chase Schreiber, Windthorst

3rd Team

Pitcher: Cody Adams, Seymour
Outfield: Tyler Berardi, Windthorst

Blacksox 17-Red Qualifies for Don Mattingly WS

The Burkburnett Blacksox qualified for the AABC Don Mattingly World Series for the 4th straight season.

The Blacksox 17U-Red team punched their ticket at the OU Invitational this weekend in and around Norman, Oklahoma.

The 17U-Black team made it the past three seasons, winning the championship in 2010.

The Blacksox will be in action all day Tuesday, taking on club teams from Colorado at Henderson Field in Burkburnett.
