Report Indicates City Water Classified as Superior

Wichita Falls, Texas- 47,000 households in the City of Wichita Falls will soon be receiving the 2012 Drinking Water Quality Report produced by the City's Water Purification Department. The report is required by the federal government and is intended to inform citizens of the quality of the City's drinking water.
The report contains valuable information concerning water quality, detailed quality analysis, watershed descriptions and maps, customer service information, a children's page and other helpful information.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has inspected the City of Wichita Falls water system and determined that it is compliant with the guidelines set forth by TCEQ and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The City of Wichita Falls currently maintains a "Superior Water System" classification from TCEQ, its highest classification.
