Okla. Lt. Governor Comments On Supreme Court Health Care Ruling

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb commented Thursday on the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act. Here is his statement:

"Today's ruling by the Supreme Court to uphold the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is unacceptable. As Oklahoma's Small Business Advocate, I have traveled the state and visited with countless business owners who voice opposition to this health care plan. Not only in Oklahoma, but also across the nation, citizens have made their opposition to this mandate known. This is not a Republican or Democrat issue, but one requiring a commonsense approach that provides a quality health care system, retains state sovereignty and encourages a competitive business climate. Now more than ever, electing leaders who will repeal Obamacare is paramount.
