The 2 men flashed a handgun at employees, but Sergeant Wiggins said they ran away without any money.

An hour later around 12:30 police responded to the Stripes on Southwest Parkway for a robbery with a weapon.
Wiggins said a black man with a ski mask went into the store with a handgun and left with an undetermined amount of money. A witness saw the robber run out of the store. Sergeant Wiggins said the suspect fired one shot at the witness as he tried to get a closer look at the man and the car he was getting into.

Police said the robberies aren't connected.
