Wichita Falls police are trying to figure out how a car ended up underneath a semi-trailer.
The wreck caused Northbound Central Freeway to shut down Monday. The Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to the accident just before 6:30 p.m.
Police said the car somehow ended up underneath the semi's trailer. Witnesses said the truck was changing lanes when it struck the car.
Two female passengers were removed from the car and taken to the ER. Neither seemed to have had life threatening injuries. The driver however had broken bones.
The driver of the truck tractor was uninjured.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
