Stewart Solid in 2nd Pawtucket Start

Wichita Falls native and Holliday HS alum Zach Stewart was solid in his second-straight AAA start for the top farm club of the Boston Red Sox in Pawtucket, R.I.

In his start Monday night against the Rochester Red Wings (MIN), he went six innings, allowing one run on five hits with no walks.

He struck out one, but left after six with the game tied at one.

Former Boston starter Daniel Bard came on in relief for the win.

In two starts at Pawtucket, since being traded by Chicago, Stewart is 1-0 with a 1.54 ERA. He has allowed one run in each of his starts.
