Vernon College will soon offer a Law Enforcement Academy.
It will start September 10 at the Skills Training Center in Wichita Falls.
The purpose of the Vernon College Law Enforcement Academy is to serve the needs of the law enforcement communities. It's also to provide students with basic knowledge and skills.
Application packets are available online at www.vernoncollege.edu <http://www.vernoncollege.edu> and the deadline to register is August 22, 2012. Applicants must be 21 years of age at time of application and be sponsored by a law enforcement agency. The application process includes a personal interview and criminal history check.
