Stabbed Man Seeks Help In W.F. Gas Station

Wichita Falls Police are learning more about what lead to a stabbing.

Wichita Falls Police Sergeant Gregory Lillis said a man walked to the Stripes on Broad Street Friday morning just after one with a stab wound on his left side.

When police arrived he told them he had been stabbed on the 1200 block of Austin Street.
The victim was taken to United Regional with non-life threatening injuries.
When police went to Austin Street they found the suspect and arrested him around 1:30 a.m.

Sergeant Lillis believes a knife was the weapon.
