Graham Alcohol Petition

Graham Alcohol Petition

An election to decide whether alcohol can be sold in Graham may soon become a reality.

Mike Elmore, the spokesman for a group trying to force an alcohol election, said the group had collected "well more" than the 808 signatures needed to get the issue on the ballot.

Elmore said the petitions would likely be delivered to County Judge John C. Bullock on Tuesday.

If the signatures are verified, an election will be held in November.
