Police: Daughter Stabs Dad

A woman is facing assault charges accused of stabbing her 76-year-old father.

Police said the dad was trying to wake up Jennifer Sue Gresham, 38, to go get something to eat. Gresham supposedly then stabbed him with a knife once in the left shoulder.

He was taken to United Regional with non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated and released.

Gresham was arrested Tuesday, charged with Family Violence/ Aggravated Assault.
