It might be hard to believe by looking at the damage but everyone made it out of an FM 369 head on collision alive.

DPS Trooper Tony Fulton said a 23-year-old woman was driving a red Ford when she tried to pass a pick-up trailer.

She was about even with the trailer when she realized she wasn't going to make it.

Trooper Fulton says the woman veered  to avoid an oncoming black PT Cruiser but instead the car veered the same way causing them to crash head on.

Air Evac was not able to help because of high winds.

Both drivers were talking when they were loaded into the ambulance and rushed to the hospital.

Their conditions are unknown.
