After several Texoma players were named All-State in Class A by the Texas Sports Writers Association Monday, two more were honored in the last two days.
Wednesday, in Class 3A, Vernon's Parker Johnson was named Honorable Mention at catcher.
He hit .371 on the season with 15 RBI, while he fielded his position at a .983 clip.
Then on Thursday, Rider's Blake Brom was named First-Team All-State in the outfield.
The Oklahoma State signee hit .369, co-leading the area with four triples, and second only to 1A 1st-Team All-State Marty Jentsch with 26 walks.
He helped lead a young Rider team to the Region I-4A Semifinals.
This fall, he'll join former Raider teammates Gage Green and Reid Barnett in Stillwater.

As a junior in 2011, the 5'11" middle blocker averaged 12 kills and nine blocks per game, helping lead the Lady Eagles to a 35-6 record and the Region I-2A Tournament.
