Pickup Driver Hits Car, Abandons Wreckage

One man has been arrested in Wichita Falls after a hit and run.

A hit and run call came in at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 2100 block of 9th St. at Harrison and Tyler.

Sergeant Joe Snyder said a gray pickup struck a tan car and drove off. The pickup was later found at Ave. C and Bell. One person ran from the vehicle on foot but was caught nearby and sent to jail.
