MSU to Host Women's Football 101

Midwestern State Football will host its annual Women's Football 101 Clinic Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sikes Lake Center in Wichita Falls.

The free event, organized by Mary Helen Maskill, will help women learn the basics of football so they don't have to be "football widows" during the Fall.

Donations raised through the clinic will benefit the Bill Maskill Foundation, a nonprofit set up to give back to the youth of Wichita Falls. You can give the night of the event or at www.wfacf.org.

Dinner will be included from Johnny Carino's, and Coach Maskill and his staff will be there along with players and media members for Q&A and a breakdown of the X's and O's of football.

There will be prizes and a free collector's T-Shirt.

Registration is limited to 150 women, and you can register by sending your name and t-shirt size to mary.maskill@mwsu.edu, or by calling Mary Helen at 397-8947.
