Lawton (OK)- An arson investigation is underway into a weekend fire at a mental health facility.
The fire happened Saturday night at the Jim Taliaferro Mental Health Facility. The fire was started with a stack of papers in a closet, in the facility's outpatient area.
Lawton firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, but residents and staff were forced to evacuate the building.
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, which oversees the facility, said it's working with investigators to determine how the fire started.
Authorities said there is a person of interest in the case bot no arrests have been made.
