Accused Texoma Shooter Caught In Colorado

Lawton (OK)- A man accused of shooting another man and stealing his car ,was caught in Denver, Colorado Monday.

Lawton police said Jordan Neuwirth was caught around 3 a.m. Monday by police in Denver. He was due in a Colorado courtroom Tuesday. There a judge would rule on his extradition to Lawton, for crimes he is accused of committing.

A warrant has been out for Neuwirth's arrest since early July. Police said he shot a 21-year-old man several times, wounding him, before stealing his money and car and fleeing to Colorado.

Neuwirth was charged with Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Car Theft.
