More jobs are heading to Texoma. A new manufacturing company will soon call Henrietta its home.
City officials are hoping this new business deal will create a domino effect. The Henrietta Business Corporation wants to make Henrietta a better place to live and grow.
Rick Langford, Economic Development Director, said the vacant Silver Creek Homes lot will soon be home to a large manufacturer.
Langford is not ready to release the name of the manufacturer, but said a separate company will purchase this facility for $375,000. That company will then lease the land to the manufacturer.
The new business is expected to create 25 jobs in the first year and 50 plus jobs over the next two years.
Although the HBC will not reveal the name of the manufacturing company, until the next month, they said the company manufacturers large fabricated aluminum products.
The Henrietta Growth Corporation plans to host a big reveal the first week of September. It will happen in the downtown square and there will be food and products on display. The manufacturer owner will be present to answer any questions.
