BNSF railroad crew will start working on a crossing in Electra.

BNSF will work the crossing at Business 287 and State Highway 25. The closure will start Tuesday, August 21 and is expected to reopen by Friday, August 24.

The intersection will be closed around the clock in both directions. Detour signs will be up to help motorists get around the construction. However, local residents are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.

Poor weather conditions will force the job to be rescheduled or delayed.
