Ovens Donated For HHH Spaghetti Dinner

 

WICHITA FALLS - Pricey portable ovens are coming to the Multi Purpose Event Center just in time for the Hotter 'n Hell Hundred spaghetti dinner.

The MPEC will be receiving two portable ovens valued at $6000.00 from the North Texas Restaurant Association, Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Kay Yeagar Coliseum kitchen.

"We recognized the need for portable ovens through our work with the Hotter 'n Hell Hundred spaghetti dinner over the past 20 years," said Rick Hatcher, association member and Spaghetti Dinner Chairman.

"These ovens will benefit the entire community as they're used at events at the MPEC throughout the year and we're proud to be able to donate them," said Hatcher.

The public is invited to join more than 4000 Hotter 'n Hell riders and family members at the spaghetti dinner Friday evening starting at 5:30 in the coliseum.

The ovens will be in use and will make it possible for cooks to prepare items on site in the coliseum instead of in the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall kitchen.
