Mandatory Water Conservation In Altus

This message is from City of Altus Emergency Management:

Due to a break in the supply line from Tom Steed Reservoir, water delivery to the City has been temporarily interrupted. There is a mandatory water conservation effort until further notice.

Until further notice there is to be no;

  • outside watering,
  • car washing unless at commercial facilities,
  • filling of pools, etc.

Until supplies are restored, the planning is to pump and treat water from the City reservoir. Taste and odor will be noticeable.
