Retired WFPD Major Gene Davis Dies

A man who risked his life to save others has passed away. A retired Major with the Wichita Falls Police Department died Monday morning. Gene Davis was 71-year-old.

Visitation will be held Wednesday at Lunns Colonial Funeral home on Midwestern Parkway between 6-8 p.m. The funeral is scheduled Thursday morning at 10 at First Baptist Church. Burial is immediately following the funeral at Highland Cemetery at the intersection of Bell Road and Rogers Lane in Iowa Park.
