A semi driver's trip to Dallas was cut short because of a Thursday morning accident outside Iowa Park.
Emergency responders were called out around 8:00 to a semi rollover along highway 287.
Trooper Tony Fulton said a semi carrying beef hides was heading south on 287 toward Dallas when it attempted to pass two cars on the inside lane. One car moved into the semi driver's lane, causing him to swerve to the left.
The truck ran into the median, which was muddy. The truck swerved back to the right but its tires got caught in the mud causing it to roll on its side.
The driver was sent to the hospital suffering minor injuries.
