Truck Airborne Before Crashing, Driver Sent To Hospital

A man is recovering from a one vehicle accident. It happened just before 4 a.m. Friday on the 100 block of Old Iowa Park Road.
Wichita County Deputies told our crew on the scene the driver of a red Ford F150 was driving on the side of the road when he hit a driveway and went airborne. He took out a tree branch and hit a telephone pole, ripping the passenger side door off the truck before running into a metal fence.
Deputies said the driver called his sister to take him to United Regional. We have calls into DPS Troopers who are in charge of the investigation to learn more.
