Car Show Raises Money for Courthouse Memorial

Posted: Updated:

Thirty-five cars came from as far away as Oklahoma City and Dallas for a car show Saturday afternoon. It was held by the Wichita County Sheriff's Office. Organizers say the turnout was great and they raised $2,300.

"We're raising money to build a memorial down at the courthouse for our fallen deputies and also our volunteer fire departments. We're gonna put two bronze statues in front of the courthouse," said Willie Howard, President of the Alumni Group

This was the second annual car show.
