GOTW: Seymour vs. Electra

Seymour and Electra entered their 2011 game with completely different recent track records.

The Panthers had a 35-15 record with four playoff appearances from 2007-2010. The Tigers went 6-34 during that same span.

During the pair of teams four matchups during that four-year stretch, Seymour outscored Electra 179-46. Seymour won all four games.

On a Friday night in Electra, Sept. 30, 2011 to be exact, Electra defeated Seymour 31-28, part of turnaround 6-6 season playoff season for the Tigers.

For most rematches the following season, that would be enough.

But not between these two teams. Not in 2012.

Keith Ivy left Electra to take the Seymour head coaching position to replace the departing Rocky Smart.
