CureSearch For Children's Cancer

Dozens of people walked around Sikes Lake Saturday morning. They were there to raise awareness about finding a cure for children who have cancer. It was the CureSearch for Children's Cancer Walk.

"The research is going to a children's oncology group to try to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer," said Terri Kinder.

• Nearly 13,500 children & adolescents are diagnosed with cancer each year.
• More than 40,000 children undergo cancer treatment each year.
• More than 350,000 children's cancer survivors live in the United States.
