Wichita Falls Set To See Higher Property Taxes

The Wichita Falls City Council is set to vote on next year's budget on Tuesday.
Councilors are expected to approve a one-cent property tax increase. That will be around $100 more on a $100,000 property. Also, in the budget is a 4% increase in both water rates and sewer rates. That will end up being about $2 more a month for the average customer. City Council meets Tuesday morning at 8:30.
