Saturday's Midwestern State football game at Texas A&M-Kingsville is the
opener of the five-game series of Lone Star Conference webcasts on
FoxSportsSouthwest.com.
The Fox Sports Southwest website will have a
link active on Saturday to view the contest live from Javelina Stadium in
Kingsville at no charge.
The web series is a part of the partnership
agreement with Fox Sports Southwest reached last winter and featured regular
season men's and women's basketball and the Lone Star Conference Tournament in
Allen. It will also feature the LSC volleyball tournament championship match in
November.
Handling the play-by-play of Saturday's game is veteran LSC
announcer Chris Needham.
The broadcast is slated to start at 6:45 p.m.
in advance of the 7 p.m. kickoff.
It is the first of two appearances for
MSU on the web series this football season. The Mustangs will also be on the
series on Oct. 27 when MSU hosts Eastern New Mexico at Memorial
Stadium.
Other games in the series include Texas A&M-Commerce at
Incarnate Word on Oct. 6, Abilene Christian at West Texas A&M on Oct. 13 and
Angelo State at Tarleton State on Nov. 10.
Each of the contests will be
video streamed live on FoxSportsSouthwest.com, not on the cable television
network.
