Motorcyclist Flown To Hospital Following Accident

Posted: Updated:
An injury accident south of the 900 block of Hwy. 281 sent a motorcyclist to the hospital Tuesday morning. Our crew was on scene around 8 a.m. and said it looked like the biker rear-ended a pick-up truck.

Trooper Tony Fulton said the 2000 Chevy pick-up was heading northbound on 281 when it stopped to turn into a business. As the driver waited for traffic to clear at 7:25 a.m., Kevin Wolfe, 51 slammed his 2003 Harley-Davidson into the back of the truck.

Air Evac took the motorcyclist to United Regional. He was later transfered to Parkland Hospital. Officials said he is in good condition.

Lakeside City Fire Department, Archer County Sheriff's Office, DPS and AMR all responded to the wreck.
