Bowie police are investigating a weekend brawl that leading to a stabbing which sent two men to the hospital.
It all happened Saturday night on the 400 block of Decatur in Bowie. Bowie Police Detective Sherry Stone said Tommy Lee Hughes, 45 and Christopher Handyside, 27 got into a fight resulting in Handyside being stabbed. He was taken to Bowie Memorial Hospital.
After the fight Hughes walked to a nearby home. When he left that home he collapsed and was taken to the hospital.Hughes had a broken nose which was causing breathing problems.
Both men were later air lifted to a Fort Worth Hospital.
Hughes has since been released. Handyside remains hospitalized recovering from surgery for his stab wound.
No arrests have been made. The case is still under investigation.
