Car Used As Weapon In Hit And Run

We now have the affidavit of a hit and run accident in Wichita Falls. Police arrested 20-year-old Conner Coughlin for intentionally hitting a vehicle and running off.

We spoke with the Wichita Falls Police Department who confirmed Conner Coughlin is the son of former Wichita Falls Police Chief Ken Coughlin.

Former Police Chief Coughlin had no comment when asked about his 20-year-old son's arrest.

Conner is accused of intentionally hitting a vehicle and running off. It happened Wednesday on Seymour Highway and Tanglewood Boulevard.

Wichita Falls Police said two cars were driving side by side, on Seymour Highway, when Coughlin swerved his car into the other car. Police said Coughlin and the driver of the other car were in an argument over drugs.
Police said Coughlin then took off but stopped at the Eskimo Hut and waited for officers to arrive. Coughlin was arrested and taken into custody.
Police took cells phones from the victims car to be used for possible evidence.

There were two other people in the victim's car when it was hit. Police said one of them was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Connor Coughlin is charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
