UPDATE: Major Water Main Break in Olney

UPDATE: City officials say the water should be on around 2 Friday morning, but say it will take a while for the water to move throughout the city.

When the water does come back on residents will be under a boil order until further notice.

If all goes according to plan officials hope to have water samples back sometime late Friday to lift the boil order.

Because of the water leak in Olney Superintendent Tom Baily says Olney schools will be closed today.

--------------

A major water main break in Olney is forcing crews to shut off city water.

Emergency Management Coordinator Ronnie Cowart said they've found the leak but need to shut off the pressure to fix it. He was unsure how long water will be off.
