Christ Academy Wins TAPPS Volleyball Showdown

Christ Academy rallied from a set down to defeat Notre Dame in four sets Thursday night at home in TAPPS District 2-A Volleyball play.

The 21-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-23 win improves the Warriors to 23-4, and more importantly 5-0 in district play, while Notre Dame falls to 20-5, 4-1 in TAPPS 2-A.

Delaney Driver led the Warriors with 19 kills, 13 digs, three aces and two blocks. Setter Christi Robertson had 28 assists to go with three aces, while Holli Robertson had a team-high 19 digs.

Christ Academy registered six blocks as a team. The Warriors will step out of district for a big matchup Saturday morning against UIL 1A #18 Munday (18-7). The match will be at Christ Academy with first serve set for 11:00 a.m.

Notre Dame gets back to action October 2nd at Fort Worth Classical Covenant.

The Lady Knights and Lady Warriors will next meet at Notre Dame for the last game of the season, on October 16th at 6:00 p.m.
