An amber alert that went out for a missing 1-year-old boy has ended.
Cooke County Sheriff's Office called off the amber alert for Jason Bailey Colwell who went missing Thursday around 5 p.m.
Sheriff Michael Compton said Colwell's father turned him over to the Saloma County CPS around 3 p.m. The Dixon, California Police Department communicated with Cooke County about what was happening.
CPS in California now has the child. No charges are pending against the father at this time. Gainesville PD is investigating this case.
