MSU Theatre Presents Almost, Maine

Posted: Updated:

The Midwestern State University Theatre presents Almost, Maine.

The Event:
An important part of the MSU Theatre Department's mission is the creative presentation of plays that invite conversation. That goal will be evident with the upcoming production of Almost, Maine, where the Northern Lights will illuminate a magical world of snow, stars, and romance. High school students and their teachers are invited to attend a special October 3 performance and are encouraged to stay afterward for a talkback with the theatre company.

The Story:
In a magical midwinter night's dream the people of Almost, Maine struggle to find light in their cold, snowy world. They experience love and heartbreak in many quirky and unexpected ways. The stories are silly. The characters are genuine. The sentiments are touching.
