Overnight Accident Send Police Officer To Hospital

Just after midnight Sunday a Wichita Falls police officer was working an accident on Kell Freeway when his patrol car was hit by a pickup. Sergeant Danny Wiggins had to be cut out of his patrol car. He was taken to United Regional with multiple injuries. Kyle Adams was the driver of the pickup. He was arrested and charged with Intoxication Assault. His bail was set at $10,000. Police continue to investigate that accident.
At the same wreck scene around 4:30am a City of Wichita Falls employee was hit by a vehicle. That person was taken to United Regional as well. Police say the employee was wearing his reflective vest at the time of the accident. No arrests have been made at this time. Police continue to investigate both of the incidents.
