Man And Woman Shot Outside Lawton Duplex

LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - One person is dead and another is injured in an early morning Lawton shooting.

Police said that the shooting happened at about 1:45 a.m. Monday at a duplex. Investigators said a man and woman were walking toward the duplex when they were shot.

The man was killed and the woman was injured. Authorities said she is expected to survive. Investigators said the pair talked to two men shortly before the shooting.

Police said detectives are talking with witnesses to determine a motive for the shootings.
