An Iowa Park man is accused of continually sexually abusing two young children.
The mother of the two victims told an Iowa Park police officer she caught her 8 and 5 years old, in a sexually compromising position. She said when she questioned them, they told her William Albert Sexton, a family member who lives with them, had sexually abused them.
The mother said that while she was at work in the late evening, 33-year-old Sexton would get the 8-year-old out of her bed and take her to the bathroom to have her perform oral sex on him. The 5-year-old told her mother the same thing happened to her. The mother took the children from the home while Sexton was at work and went to the women's shelter.
The next day, another Iowa Park police officer met with the mother and two victims at Patsy's House for a forensic interview. Interviewed separately the two girls gave similar disturbing encounters of how the family member sexually assaulted them on numerous occasions.
Police questioned Sexton on Tuesday, and he admitted to having the 8-year-old perform sexual acts on him on at least two occasions. He was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated sexual assault to a child, and continuous sexual abuse of a young child or children. His bond is set at a combined $500,000.
