U.S. Rep Thornberry to Speak at MSU

U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Clarendon, will be the guest speaker at Midwestern State University Monday, as part of the Professor Edwards "Discussions in Politics" Series.

His focus will be the role of armed services and U.S. Defense Policy in a changing world.

Including the Libya attack, what we know now, and how the administration's story has changed.

The discussion will begin at 1 p.m. in Akin Auditorium.

A question and answer session will follow Thornberry's speech.

This is the fourth year for the series.

The event was named in memory of former MSU Political Science Professor (1923-1958) and Board of Regents member (1993) Atticus F. "Prof" Edwards.
