Troopers: Two Men Busted With 50 Pounds of Marijuana

Department of Public Safety troopers bust two men with more than 50 pounds of marijuana.

Troopers noticed a tractor trailer heading southbound on 287 with No reflective material on the rear protection bar of the trailer.

Troopers told the driver he was going to do an inspection. The affidavit states the driver, Ramandeep Baidwan, kept looking at the passenger, Gagandeep Baidwan, anytime the trooper asked him anything.

Ramandeep asked if the trooper could hurry up. He told the trooper there was nothing illegal in the trailer.

The trooper searched the trailer and found pallets of produced piled to the ceiling. A K-9 unit was called out. The trailer was taken to the Wichita County Jail Annex to remove the pallets with a forklift.

Two duffle bags filled with 53 bags of pot was found, with each bag weighing a pound. A small baggie containing less than a gram of black tar heroin was also found in Gagandeep's wallet.

The two men are charged with Possession of Marijuana.
