Rural Health Care

Hamilton Hospital is providing rural health care in Archer City. Residents now will not have to drive far to get health care.

The Archer Family Clinic is open and medical staff is seeing patients back-to-back. Nurses and physicians are fulfilling the need of local medical care, that Archer City residents have been needing for years.

Archer Family Clinic is not only providing medical care, it's also raising awareness about preventative health. They want residents to get back on track to good health.

Doctor Aaron Purdy, said, "We want to embrace the concept of a medical home. We don't want to be a place where you come in just when you're sick, when you have a cold or a cough." Dr. Purdy added, "We want to embrace wellness talk about preventative things and conditions."

Archer Family Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 to 5. Clinic health officials said those hours allow them to spend more time with each patient and address all issues.

Archer Family Clinic is hosting their first health fair November 30th from 7:30 to 11 in the morning, at the Clinic in Archer City. Residents will be able to check cholesterol, blood pressure, get health information and ask questions.
