Man Dies From Tanker Explosion Wounds

Posted: Updated:

A 51-year-old Texoma man has died from his injuries caused by an oil tank explosion.

It happened just north of Loving in Young County on November 18th.

Calvin Robinson of Bryson was said to have been pulled to safety by another "Greco" co-worker after the explosion. Young County Sheriff Bryan Walls say two men were welding on a tank they believed to be dry, sparking the explosion.

The two workers were sent to Graham Regional Medical Center. Robinson was later taken to Parkland Burn center in Dallas for his injuries.

The other worker was released later that day.
