The Midwestern Parkway/Holliday Creek Bridge Repair Project is now underway causing some temporary road closures. Workers started the placement of a multiple polymer concrete overlay on the bridge on Monday.
The phasing of construction will close down a complete half of the roadway for each phase. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the other half of the roadway.
Contractors began work on the westbound half of the bridge, and it should take about one week to complete, weather permitting. Once they have finished the westbound half, they will work on the eastbound half. Again, two-way traffic will remain on the other half of the roadway. This half of the work should also take one week to complete, depending on weather.
