Accident Fatality

Wichita Falls Police Officers were dispatched to an injury accident on the north side of town around 1:35 Saturday morning. The accident was reported to involve a 2000 silver Chevrolet Tahoe and a male subject who was walking in the road.

According to officials the man was hit by the vehicle. The driver said she just couldn't stop in time

The accident was located in the right hand lane of SB I44 just north of Missile road. AMR and Wichita Falls Fire Department First Responders responded to the scene.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Little. The Crash Unit is still investigating the details of the incident.
